What Can Love Do To You?

Love... it can make you drool, faint and scream...

Love is something that you won't ever expect to come but when it arrives it is like a festival... fireworks everywhere... rainbows all around... confetti falling from the sky... drum rolls in your ear... music in your heart...
It is funny that I relate Love into a Festival, how can it be true? You may ask but I myself couldn't answer that because LOVE is something you relate into WHATEVER when it comes. You may relate it into music, a harpsichord, or even a national hero if that is how you see it. This is so because people has different expression of love. You may scream your lungs out to show that you love that person, you may even keep it in yourself, you may just cry until you are tough enough to tell your love one that you love him or you may just stare at him from afar.
Crazy it may be but love can make a person go gaga, naive, fool, blind, stupid, and crazy itself. Weird... but only Love can make people feel different emotions in just one moment. It can make a person feel hurt and great at the same time.
Love can make a person stupid but it can also make a person really intelligent.
Love can stop a person from jumping in a bridge but it can also kill a person with one 'bang' on the head.
Love can make a person go around the world in 80 days but it can also make a person stay in a nipa hut forever.
Love can make a person stay in front of the computer for 24 hours but it can also make a person turn his back from it and pay attention to some books.
Love can make a person a good politician but it can also make a person a simple being.
Love can make a person dance even though he already lost one leg.
Love can make a person become 'workaholic' from being a 'tambay.'
Love can make a person drink his medicine even though it is bitter.
Love can make a person live 3 more years after being announced 50-50 in the hospital.
Love can make a person like burgundy and forget black.
Love can make a person energized after being stressed out for the whole day.
Love can make a person stare outside the window and smile at nothing.
Love can make a person run after spending his lifetime in a wheel chair.
Love can make a person love a job she hated for almost all his lifetime.
Love can make a person a better person.
Love can make a person write this hoping that this will be by the person she loves.

SJ is not complete if they are not 13

I am currently listening to Yesung's version of Polaris and my interest in writing this sparks even more...
This is my answer to a certain blog written by a so-called SJ fan-kuno... I don't even get her name and I don't really care about her at all.
Before I start this blog, let me tell you that I respect her opinions, beliefs and values because she is entitled to it as a human being. This is just to justify my own opinions, beliefs and values so please respect mine, too.
I live a very boring life once. School... home...school...home then it became work...home...work...home... but then I met (in my fantasy) Super Junior...
When I started watching their videos and listening to their songs, I also got confused. Who is who? They have too many members for my liking! But then, I was drawn to their songs, their looks, their talents, their skills and I took time to know them. I couldn't entirely remember how I did it. I watched their music videos, their shows and even their movies and I then I drowned. Everything went it... I started loving them... one by one... SUPER JUNIOR CAN'T BE SUPER JUNIOR IF THEY ARE NOT 13... OR 15...
Let me tell you why... I will start to the very first person that I learned to LOVE...
Yesung...
I saw him in the episode of Star King where Charisse Pempengco first appeared and that was the first time I set eyes on Super Junior, he looks very much like my favorite T-Pop singer and then it all comes in... but enough of that... Yesung is a very sweet guy, although he sometimes looks awkward on the screen, you will love this guy... his voice is the SWEETEST. He is very good in vocals and he makes SJ's songs more interesting with his adlibs. His voice is really high that you will wait for the highest part and catch your breath at the same time. Although, he is not considered as the best dancer, with his unique dance moves, you will think that he is really a dancer (if you don't really know SJ). His smile is also lovable. There is this light in him when he smiles that I couldn't really put into words but it is very refreshing. It is like he will always be there for you, as a friend, as a brother or something more. He looks really handsome in person than in your TV or computer screen... and when you meet him in person, you'll just stare at him... ask me... he is really really handsome in person!!!
Siwon
Siwon was the second SJ that I noticed, his dimples when he smiles... gosh... it is not as evident as Leeteuk's but his has this air of royalty in it. He is really a prince, in person or in your screen. He has this charm that makes him unique. Siwon is a really good singer and dancer. He is also a really really good actor. He has this great looks and great body at the same time. That is just a few of his good sides that people know but despite these... Siwon is a God-loving person. He broadcasts his faith, he uses his skills to make the people follow God. He is mature. He is sweet. He is sensitive. He takes cool pics using his SLR camera. He is a person of humanity and love. He loves ELF. He loves Super Junior.
Leeteuk
The hyung... the oppa... the leader... this cry baby is the pillar of Super Junior. Despite his baby features, there is a man inside. He is a person who will do everything for his ELF. He is sometimes EMO but this man is sensitive enough to think of others, first. He makes ELF feel like we are the best people on earth and that there are no other people can best us. He is the leader not just of SJ but also ELF's. His sweet voice entices the audience to listen to him. He is a really good dancer. He is very versatile. He is funny. He is sweet. His smile never fades despite the fact that he holds a really tough responsibility... and that is why he is loved.
Heechul
Heechul has this ability to make girls think... think if he is straight or not... but he can also make girls drool when he starts to sing and talk. That voice of him is like a wave that is so gentle yet so handsome. It is so soft and yet there is command in that voice. Some may not like his features but some may also get attracted to that Japanese features. His confidence is really awesome, he doesn't care what other people may think of him as long as he likes what he does. His smile is so sexy and hot. And that smirk also gives the same feeling.
Kangin
My God, I was swept away by this guy. I miss him so much. He is considered as the hard-headed, naughty guy and yet, that is his charm. His handsome, manly features makes girls drool at the sight of him. His voice is so manly and charming at the same time. He has a confidence level that can stretch out from earth to heaven... yet he is still princely. His eyes when he smiles is so cute... and even though you are angry, all your anger will be gone when you see it.
Donghae
When I saw this guy in person and he smiled at me, I just froze... OMONA!!! He is so handsome that when I think of it, I want to grab him and make him a keychain. This guy has LOVE written all over his face. He is so handsome that I can't even describe it. His voice is heaven and his dance moves is just so solid that his body graces the stage wonderfully melting our hearts... Whoah... beautiful man, that donghae is...
Kibum
Kibum... so so so so sweet... period... okay next!!! LOL :D
Nah... Kibum is just so handsome that whoever meets his gaze crumbles... really! He is so cute. He can also dance well, and sing well although he has very few appearances, now a days. I miss him. His smile, his eyes, his shyness. I wish he comes back.
Shindong
WHOEVER SAY SOMETHING BAD ABOUT SHINDONG WILL DIE IN MY HANDS... nah, but I really hate those people who says, they should not have included Shindong in the group because he is fat and ugly. That is OUCH! He is not ugly, chubby, maybe but not fat. He is not Shindong if he gets thin, OK! Those people who keeps judging Shindong are those who don't know SJ. Shindong is an asset, his rap, his dance moves... they are just awesome! He is also funny and he loves his ELFs.
Hangeng
Mr. Beijing Fried Rice... I just realized that I miss him. I'm not really a Hangeng bias but when he was gone, there is this empty space that will forever be empty without him. Hangeng is a really good singer and a really graceful dancer. AHHH... I'm crying... SJ will not be SJ without this guy... the sweet, shy, cool, handsome, hot Hangeng.
Kyuhyun
AHHHHH... How did you become that handsome??? My God... this kid... he grew to be a man... that nose... ahhh... really... and he is more handsome in person. I look forward to seeing him again. Kyuhyun's voice is a gift from heaven to his audience. This kid who loves to play playstation and study well is such a LOVE. He is improving in all aspect, physically, mentally, and skillfully... Gosh... he is already considered as a dancing hero!!! When did he learn to dance like that? We could have even forget that he is one of the best singers of the group because he dances like a diva, now.
Eunhyuk
Damn that chest pump... I still couldn't forget that because he is just too hot. He sings well... ballad suits him and I respect his abilities... (too many to mention) He is a really good rapper. That body of his, when he dance, how can a person looks like a rubber when they dance. He is a real Dance Machine. I just couldn't stop staring at him when he is on the stage.
Ryeowook
Ah, my LOVE... This guy... I don't know what to say it is just he is too sweet for words. He may look like a boy but he definitely is more matured than the other members. He takes care of his hyungs. He sings really good. He composes. He brings his audience to heaven when he sings. He acts cute. He is cute... I really love Ryeowook...
Sungmin
I'm done... babay... LOL :D
What now? What can I say... I've given enough adjectives to the other members, what's left for him?
hmmm... CUTE... SWEET... FLEXIBLE... SENSITIVE...TALENTED...SKILLFUL...GENIUS... He is the dancer, the singer, the writer, the martial artist, the photographer, the pizza tosser, the cross dresser, the pumpkin lover, the pink lover, the believer, the speaker, the horse rider, the host, the guy of my dreams... the guy whose voice energize me when I'm stressed out... the guy who makes me crawl in jealousy... the guy who smile when I'm sad... the guy who made me LOVE SJ more and more.
Those are the 13 guys of SJ... everyone is unique... everyone makes up SUPER JUNIOR!
These are the additional 2, MIMI and Henry... I won't talk much about them except for my love for them. They've experienced a lot, they have been booed on stage, on the net, on their concert... but here in the Philippines they are loved.

BOBONG PINOY at AKO

Sa wakas, pagkatapos ng sampung taon ng paghahangad na makakuha ng kopya ng mga librong sinulat ng Webmaster ng BOBONG PINOY na itago nalang natin sa alyas na ROBERT ONG at BOB ONG ay mayroon na akong tatlong libro. Mantakin mo 'un walong taon, nalipasan na ng taon ang mga binubokbok na libro sa bulok kong book shelf ay hindi pa rin iyon nalalamnan ng mga librong sumasalamin sa akin bilang isang Pilipino. At eto pa, dahil naaasar na ang nanay ko sa sandamakmak kong libro~~~daw~~~ (400 titles palang naman un ah, according sa huling bilang ko!) yung binili kong dalawang libro kahapon ay tinago sa binili kong manila paper. Bumili talaga ako ng manila paper para lang dun!!! Kung itatanong nyo kung paano ko naitago yung isa, ndi ko itinago sinabi ko lang na hiniram ko... wag lang magpunta sa amin si Ma'am Karen (co-teacher ko) dahil isusumbong daw niya ako.

Sabi ko pa naman dati, paborito ko syang manunulat na Pinoy eh ni hindi pa nga ako nakakabasa kahit isa sa mga libro niya samantalang kabi-kabila ang Sofia, Sonia Francesca, Rose Tan, Martha Cecilia at Vanessa na ang nabili, nabasa, napapalitan kong mga libro. Natapos ko na rin ang Harry Potter 1-7, ang tatlo sa mga librong Science Fiction ni Micheal Crichton, ang mga librong Celestine Prophecy, Sophie's World at ibang pang librong nabanggit sa Stainless Longganisa, Angels and Demons, Da Vinci Code at kung ano- ano pang libro na, oo, inaamag na sa taguan ko.
Nakakahiya mang aminin pero AKO ay isa ding Bobong Pinoy. Bobo sa paninindigan, bobo sa kinalakhan, bobo sa nararamdam, at bobo sa pananaw na kaya naming baguhin dahil alam ko naman... sabi ko nga lagi sa mga estudyante ko... "IF YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE WRONG THEN YOU ARE ONE STEP TO BEING RIGHT!" Kaya ba natin? OO naman, papayag ba tayong habang buhay na maging Bobong Pinoy? HINDI!!! (parang nagwewelga lang sa Ermita)
Sampung taon na ang lumipas ng mailimbag ang unang 'ABNKKBSNPLAko?', sampung taon na din na kung ano ang kinagisnan ay nararamdaman pa rin sa ngayon... ang tanong, ilang taon na kaya ang lumipas ng maranasan ni Bob Ong ang mga karanasang isinulat niya sa kanyang mga libro, hindi ba NAKAKAHIYA na sa paglipas ng panahon, mapa-10 man yan, walo, lima, isa, o kung dalampung taon na o na sa palagay ko ay higit pa ang nakalipas ay naranasan ni Bob Ong ang mga makabagbag damdaming karanasan niya ay dinaranas pa natin hanggang ngayon? Ganun ba talaga? Wala pa rin bang pagbabago??? Ilang libong libro na ba ni Bob Ong ang nabili mula sa mga bookstore? Ibig bang sabihin BOBONG PINOY pa rin tayo???
Tinanong sa akin kanina ng aking estudyante kung sa palagay ko raw ba ay nabasa ni Gloria ang mga libro ni Bob Ong, ang sagot ko SANA!!! Pero naisip ko ngayon, 'kung ganun nga, bakit wala pa ring pagbabago?'
Gustuhin ko mang tapusin ito na may maibibigay na suhestyon para maging isang MATALINONG PINOY ay wala akong maisip kasi isa rin akong BOBONG PINOY, realisasyong mahirap man tanggapin ay totoo. Isa akong BOBONG PINOY na tumawid sa gilid ng Pedestrian Lane kahit pwede namang sa gitna, nagtapon ng plastic sa labas ng jeep, ngumatngat ng bubble gum at nilagay sa ilalim ng mesa, nag-iwan ng balat ng kendi sa upuan ng simbahan, nakipagsuntukan sa mga lalaking klasmeyt nung elementary, sinubukang maging coño nung college, nagbasa ng mga magazine hanggang lumabo ang mata, at nagsusulat dito na parang nagsusulat para sa isang sikat na libro at nagfi-feeling-filingan.

Bobo sa paninindigan, bobo sa kinalakhan, bobo sa nararamdam, at bobo sa pananaw na kaya naming baguhin dahil alam ko naman... sabi ko nga lagi sa mga estudyante ko... "IF YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE WRONG THEN YOU ARE ONE STEP TO BEING RIGHT!" Kaya ba natin? OO naman, papayag ba tayong habang buhay na maging Bobong Pinoy? HINDI!!! (parang nagwewelga lang sa Ermita)
Sampung taon na ang lumipas ng mailimbag ang unang 'ABNKKBSNPLAko?', sampung taon na din na kung ano ang kinagisnan ay nararamdaman pa rin sa ngayon... ang tanong, ilang taon na kaya ang lumipas ng maranasan ni Bob Ong ang mga karanasang isinulat niya sa kanyang mga libro, hindi ba NAKAKAHIYA na sa paglipas ng panahon, mapa-10 man yan, walo, lima, isa, o kung dalampung taon na o na sa palagay ko ay higit pa ang nakalipas ay naranasan ni Bob Ong ang mga makabagbag damdaming karanasan niya ay dinaranas pa natin hanggang ngayon? Ganun ba talaga? Wala pa rin bang pagbabago??? Ilang libong libro na ba ni Bob Ong ang nabili mula sa mga bookstore? Ibig bang sabihin BOBONG PINOY pa rin tayo???
Tinanong sa akin kanina ng aking estudyante kung sa palagay ko raw ba ay nabasa ni Gloria ang mga libro ni Bob Ong, ang sagot ko SANA!!! Pero naisip ko ngayon, 'kung ganun nga, bakit wala pa ring pagbabago?'
Gustuhin ko mang tapusin ito na may maibibigay na suhestyon para maging isang MATALINONG PINOY ay wala akong maisip kasi isa rin akong BOBONG PINOY, realisasyong mahirap man tanggapin ay totoo. Isa akong BOBONG PINOY na tumawid sa gilid ng Pedestrian Lane kahit pwede namang sa gitna, nagtapon ng plastic sa labas ng jeep, ngumatngat ng bubble gum at nilagay sa ilalim ng mesa, nag-iwan ng balat ng kendi sa upuan ng simbahan, nakipagsuntukan sa mga lalaking klasmeyt nung elementary, sinubukang maging coño nung college, nagbasa ng mga magazine hanggang lumabo ang mata, at nagsusulat dito na parang nagsusulat para sa isang sikat na libro at nagfi-feeling-filingan.

Isaiah 35:4
... say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."
Isaiah 35:4
Our Lord promises more than what we want. He knows us before we can even learn to write our name, he molds us from day to day, he cuddles us when we lost hope, and he gives us strength when we are weak.
God encourages us to be brave because he loves us more than anything else. He wants us to keep our faith so that we will have enough strength when he fulfill his promise and bring us to his vast land.
I have a friend who sent a very inspirational message, it simply says, "Get ready, God is coming!" We have to be ready when he comes for us, ready with our arms so it will open to him, ready with our legs so it can run up to him, ready with our eyes to take in his form, ready for our body to embrace him and ready with our lips to smile at him.
He will come, he will fulfill his promise.
