For the Love of My Kids

It was almost night, but still the atmosphere was high. We were anticipating, waiting as patiently as we can muster. How late the clock strikes, we never cared, it was awarding, for heaven's sake.

I was most fortunate when I chose those kids. I couldn't have chosen better. I realized that when I heard their names being called by the speaker for the awards that they won. I tried to count the certificates being handed to them but I lost count, probably 30 or more, might even be 50 if only I tried harder. My hand became red in clapping and my throat felt thirsty for screaming.

My partner in crime, my co-adviser Ma'am Karen was as exited as I am. My principal, Sir Rhayan was so happy and proud. My co-teachers were as proud as we can be. Our VPAA had never smiled as joyful as she had for days.

They could be hard-headed but they were great inspiration for me to work harder even if that means sacrificing my first love, beauty rest.

They were love, they are love, and they will be love, forever.

To you:
Guys, we are hoping that you can do better. God bless always and let us aim for more.
